Check out this fantastic video from The New Canoe (2008) featuring Haida fashion designer Dorothy Grant. It offers a behind-the-scenes look at her studio and boutique space in Vancouver. The video also offers a one-on-one informal interview that provides insight as to how she got started in fashion, the inspiration behind her Feastwear and Dorothy Grant lines (as well as her menswear and accessories options), and her hopes for the future of her fashion design business.
